Report a Bytes Link
If a jaww.ws Link appears suspicious, deceptive or abusive, you can report it without signing in to Bytes.
Use the public reporting route:
What you can report
The form accepts a jaww.ws Link URL or slug and asks you to choose a report category.
You can add more detail if it helps the review. Providing your email address is optional and is only used for follow-up about the report.
After a valid report is accepted, Bytes gives you a public case reference. Keep that reference if you need to refer to the report later.
What happens after a report
A report does not automatically disable a Link.
Bytes groups reports into an abuse case for review. A reviewer can investigate the case and decide whether the Link should remain available, be placed under safety review or be blocked.
If a Link is under safety review, visitors see a Bytes safety notice before continuing. The notice makes Go back the primary action and provides Continue anyway as a secondary choice.
If a Link is blocked, visitors see a Bytes safety notice and cannot continue to the original destination.
The safety notice does not display or link to the original destination.
If you manage the Link
If you own or administer the workspace that contains the Link, use I manage this Link on the safety notice.
After signing in, an authorised workspace owner or admin can provide context for the current case. Where a blocked Link is contested, Bytes can reopen the case for review without overwriting the Link's original destination.
Reporting a different problem
The public Report Abuse route is for suspicious or abusive Bytes Links.
