Links

A Link is the core measurable object in Bytes.

Each Link can include:

  • a destination URL
  • a short jaww.ws URL
  • an active or inactive state
  • a title and notes
  • channel and UTM values
  • tags
  • a standard QR code
  • measurable activity

Public URL format​

The public URL is normally shown as:

https://jaww.ws/your-slug

The Links page can search by slug, title or destination URL. Search applies across the current workspace, not only the page of Links currently visible in the table, and it can be combined with a tag filter.

Sortable columns include Destination, Clicks, Created, Last Clicked and Status. Sorting is also applied across the complete matching result set before the table is split into pages. When Last Clicked is sorted with the most recent activity first, Links that have never been clicked appear after Links with recorded click activity.

An active Link can redirect publicly and counts towards the workspace allowance.

An inactive Link is retained for reference but does not remain publicly available.
