Tags and Activity Groups

Tags and Activity Groups solve different organisational problems.

Tags

Tags are flexible labels for finding and filtering Links.

Useful examples include:

  • events
  • retail
  • seasonal
  • social
  • email
  • customer-support

Activity Groups

Activity Groups bring connected Links and Offline Engagement items together around a goal, event, launch or campaign.

They help answer:

  • Which Links belong together?
  • Which physical placements are connected?
  • Which activity should be reviewed as one initiative?

Which one should you use?

Use a tag when the label can apply across unrelated work.

Use an Activity Group when several pieces of activity should be measured together.

Example

Cops & Coffee could tag several Links with events, while placing the poster, table card and social Link for one weekend inside the Summer Meet 2026 Activity Group.
