Create a Link

Create the Link in the workspace that owns the activity.

Choose the workspace

Check the workspace switcher before opening Links.

Add the destination

Enter the full destination URL, including https://.

Example:

https://copsandcoffee.example/events/summer-meet

Add a clear title

Use a title that makes sense in a list or report.

Example:

Cops & Coffee Summer Meet

Choose a slug

Use a short, readable slug when a recognisable public URL matters.

Example:

summer-meet

Bytes will reject unavailable or reserved slugs.

Add campaign context

Add the channel and UTM values before saving when you already know where the Link will be used.

Save and test

Open the short URL in a private browser window and confirm that it reaches the correct destination.

Do not print or distribute a QR code until the destination and short URL have been tested.
