Create or choose your workspace
A workspace is the main boundary for your Links, Analytics, people, domains, integrations and settings.
What belongs to a workspace
The selected workspace controls:
- Links
- Activity Groups
- Analytics
- Offline Engagement
- domains
- integrations
- API keys and eligible Workspace Webhooks
- members and ownership
- Brand Kit defaults
- plan limits
Choose the correct workspace
When you belong to more than one workspace, use the workspace switcher in the application header before creating or reviewing activity.
Each workspace can have a small all-plan Workspace Identity icon so it is easier to recognise in the switcher and workspace lists.
If no icon has been uploaded, Bytes shows a neutral initial instead.
Naming workspaces
Use a name that your team will recognise, such as:
- Cops & Coffee
- Cops & Coffee Events
- Jawwws Bytes
- Summer Market Campaigns
Changing the display name later does not automatically change the workspace slug or existing short Links.
Avoid unnecessary workspaces
Do not create a workspace for every individual Link.
Use tags and Activity Groups to organise connected work inside one workspace.
Next step
Owners and administrators can manage the workspace icon, members, Brand Kit and other shared configuration in Workspace Settings.
